At Garden Outfitters Store, we take as much care in packaging your plants and bulbs as we do in growing them. However, we understand that sometimes a return or exchange may be necessary. Our policy is designed to be as flexible as our flowering vines while protecting the delicate nature of our living products.

Our Return Policy

We accept returns within 15 days of delivery for most items. To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused and in their original condition
  • Original packaging must be intact (for non-plant items)
  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required

Special Note on Live Plants & Bulbs: Due to their perishable nature, we cannot accept returns on live plants, flower bulbs, or other perishable gardening items unless they arrive damaged or incorrect. Please inspect all live plants immediately upon delivery and contact us within 48 hours if there are any issues.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned:

  • All live plants (including Achillea, Agastache, Asclepias, etc.)
  • Flower bulbs (Allium, Crocus, Daffodil, etc.)
  • Perishable gardening supplies
  • Items marked as “Final Sale”

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  1. Contact Us: Email our customer care team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Use our template below for faster processing.
  2. Provide Details: Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for return.
  3. Wait for Approval: We’ll respond within 2 business days with return instructions.
  4. Ship Your Return: Once approved, ship your return to:

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for valuable items.

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Timing: Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
  • Method: Refunds will be issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable

Exchange Policy

To exchange an item:

  1. Follow the standard return process above
  2. Clearly indicate you’d like an exchange and specify the replacement item
  3. We’ll process the exchange once we receive your return

If the exchange item costs more, you’ll need to pay the difference. If it costs less, we’ll refund the difference.
